Didn't work for my scalp
I've never had a shampoo and conditioner make my scalp itch so bad. All three of my daughters had itchy scalps from it as well. Had to stop using unfortunately. I have always loved Bumble and Bumble products, but the Gentle did not work for us.

This shampoo saved my hair
I have been using Bumble and Bumble products for the past 15 years. I used the Color Minded Shampoo every day until they pulled the old formula from the shelves a few years ago. At that point I switched to the Seaweed Shampoo, which worked pretty well until they changed the formula. After that my scalp became irritated and my hair was so dried out, it was awful. I was about to go in search of a new brand, when I remembered the Gentle Shampoo. I wish I had gone straight from Color Minded to this. I have fine, oily hair that I need to wash every day and have struggled to find a shampoo that rinses clean but doesn't dry out my hair. This shampoo is perfect, the lather is great, there is no residue left behind and it brought my hair back to life after the new Seaweed Shampoo dried it out. I could feel the difference the first time I used it. It isn't sulfate free, but I haven't noticed much of an issue with my blonde highlights fading since I started using this shampoo six months ago. PLEASE BUMBLE & BUMBLE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT CHANGE THIS FORMULA, there will be nothing left for me to switch to if you do.

IT'S NOT SULFATE FREE!!!
I am so upset that this shampoo is NOT sulfate free. It's my fault for not checking. I've been a LOYAL customer of B&B's Invisible Oil line for years. As pretty much all their other products are sulfate free. It may not be a deal breaker for others but for anyone with VERY difficult hair, it's a must. I have very thick, coarse, frizzy beyond belief hair. As I've gotten older the gray coming in is 1000x worse. I have NO choice but to due regular Keratin treatments as I live in Central Florida where the humidity makes my hair completely unmanageable. I've now washed my freshly colored and keratin treatment treated hair twice with this shampoo. One of the worst things for the longevity of the treatment! Please always double check before assuming (unlike me) that a top quality product line's products are made equally.

Worked Great Until It Didn't
I began using this product because hormones were changing and previous shampoo wasn't working. Used for a couple years and it worked great, but then my hair began falling out. It wasn't just a little hair, but a lot. Initially I thought it was hormone issue, so I tried a different shampoo and conditioner and my hair stopped falling out. I was 40 when I began using and stopped at 42. So, I think it's hormonal changes. My son has been using for his hair the entire time and there haven't been any issues for him. When the current bottle is done, I won't continue to buy this product for my son simply because he has curly hair and will find something to enhance his curls.

Horrified at changes to BB packaging and product inclusion
Two hundred dollar order of one liter Gentle shampoo and one liter Gentle conditioner and the packaging was non existent, literally both liters were STUFFED in a small thin package. Furthermore NO PUMPS included for liter bottles, Really????? After years of ordering on line with BB and receiving pumps with liter order now they stopped including the pumps with no notification on the website. Horrible, poor packaging and NO pumps for a two hundred dollar order of two liters is absurd. I will NEVER order again after this experience. For years the packaging/shipping experience was outstanding and now the complete opposite exists.

A Tribute to My Beloved Shampoo
No joke, I have been using Gentle Shampoo for nearly 25 years! It is the only shampoo that brings volume and fluffiness to my fine hair in the dry dry climate of Colorado. I have tried other "volumizing" shampoos but always return to Bumble and Bumble!!

Really like this shampoo
I'm a 69 year old young woman who has tried many popular brands of shampoos throughout my life. I have medium hair texture. I'm a brunette. Shoulder length hair. . I get root touch ups every six weeks due to annoying gray hair strands, and enjoy highlights about every three months. I'm glad that I found this shampoo. I've been using it for a year. My hair feels so soft. Like it did in my 20's. Doesn't fade my color treated hair. Smells nice. I don't wash my hair every day as it's not needed. It's probably healthier for hair. Very happy with B&B Gentle shampoo.

Great shampoo but what happened to the pump?
Have used this for years. Always buy the liter bottles. They have increased significantly in price in the past 3 years... about $30 more per bottle. With the price increase for some reason, the company stopped including the liter pump. It is now an add on... good news is they are reusable which I do. However, once the pump malfunctioned, the company was impossible to contact for a replacement. Chat was useless, phone was difficult but better and there is no email address listed when you click email. Why not just include the pump on this luxury product? It's a nice shampoo and I'll continue to use it, but customer service is horrendous. If you want to be a high end company maybe treat your customers better.
