This shampoo to me is the La Mer of haircare - a tried and true formulation that just works and has stood the test of time against baseless ingredient marketing hype. It is the only shampoo on the market that is perfectly balanced for daily washers, and it is the only shampoo I have found in over 20 years that works for my oily, sensitive scalp and super fine, frizz-prone hair, as well as the sensitive acne-prone skin on my neck and back. The conditioner is flawless as well, and you only need the tiniest amount because it IS super rich, and it just glides through the hair and never leads to build up. I, and I am sure countless others would be gutted if this were ever reformulated, as it is perfect as is, and if you have been struggling to find a shampoo/conditioner combo that works well for frequent washing or you suffer from any kind of scalp or skin sensitivity, this is the one for you. The smell is also one of a kind and is so light and powdery and fresh and is also well-balanced so it won't clash with any other scented products. 10/10, could not recommend more.

Gentle and volumizing!!
I’ve been using the bumble and bumble volumizing shampoo, and this one is just so gentle and gives me all the volume that I need without drying my hair. I love it.

Lovely, gentle cleanser
I am very active and so need to shower and shampoo daily, which were really drying out my hair and skin. I've searched to find shampoo and body cleansers that clean but are extra gentle. I bought this shampoo to accomplish that, and it's perfect.

Best shampoo I've ever used.
I color my hair so it has a tendency to be dry. This shampoo is gentle and does not dry out my hair.

A favorite
I have been using this shampoo exclusively for about 15 years. Absolutely love it, except it was brought to my attention recently it's not sulfate free. I never bothered to check, and it was never pointed out to me until my last color in which my stylist recommended a sulfate free shampoo. I'm a little bothered by this, and am looking for a product that is a gentle on my hair, but also free of sulfates.

I've bought this for years
I've used this shampoo for years. It gentle on colored hair and gentle on post covid hair. I'm trying to preserve every strand so I can't use anything harsh. This does a great job.

No I would not buy this again
I bought this based on reviews what I didn't like about the shampoo what's that it made my scalp extremely itchy and I didn't care for the way it smelled I didn't smell nice at all I also bought the matching conditioner and I felt the conditioner was very weak it didn't penetrate on my hair it also didn't give my my hair any smoothness or moisture this melodious conditioner was really overpowering I did not like the way it smelled it was too much

Really like this shampoo
I'm a 69 year old young woman who has tried many popular brands of shampoos throughout my life. I have medium hair texture. I'm a brunette. Shoulder length hair. . I get root touch ups every six weeks due to annoying gray hair strands, and enjoy highlights about every three months. I'm glad that I found this shampoo. I've been using it for a year. My hair feels so soft. Like it did in my 20's. Doesn't fade my color treated hair. Smells nice. I don't wash my hair every day as it's not needed. It's probably healthier for hair. Very happy with B&B Gentle shampoo.
