I’m typically picky about scents but I absolutely love this one. It has a subtle sweetness and floral scent. I would use this for a date night or nice event.

Perfect for daytime but not long-lasting

I received this Bal d’Afrique perfume, complementary from Byredo and Influenster. I am familiar with Byredo perfume and as it is highly recommended by many people. This particular perfume has a rose and floral note that makes it perfect for daytime use. The major limitation is that the scent does not than half a day requiring additional application.

Nice Scent, but Lacks Longevity

Bal d’Afrique by Byredo has a pleasant, fresh scent with soft citrus and woody notes that feel clean and easy to wear. However, the fragrance didn’t stand out as much as I expected for the price. The longevity is fairly short and the projection is quite subtle, fading quickly on my skin. It’s nice for everyday use, but not memorable enough for me to repurchase.

New perfume and I love it!

This is a new brand and perfume to me. I was very excited to try it on since I love perfumes and trying new smells. The packaging was a sample size but it was enough to use and see if it was a scent for me. I actually thought this perfume was really good. It has a floral but woodsy smell, it reminds me of a hot tea with lemon. It wears good throughout the day and last pretty good. The scent is not overwhelming and is just right with a spray or two. Overall it’s a nice perfume and I would definitely purchase a full size bottle of this. It’s a nice perfume for a night out or nice perfume for a day out.

Rich yet sweet

This scent is absolutely gorgeous and so rich. It has a woodsy yet sweet scent making a perfect scent to wear on a date night or a special occasion. It’s not an overwhelming scent but does last on the skin so just a couple of sprays will last all day. I would love to purchase a full size bottle because this perfume has all my favorite top notes and accords.

Doesn’t last long

This scent is soo beautiful and feels tropical. The only sad thing is that it doesn’t last long and I don’t feel like the price of the full bottle is worth it. Absolutely not, not for a whisper of a smell. It lasts maybe less than 30 min on me.
