Clopping sound when walking

I sound similar to a horse when walking in these sandals. They snap back onto the bottom of your foot, since the sole is non flexible and the upper band is kind of loose and flexible. It makes a clopping sound. Maybe they run large. If I get a smaller size, will the upper band be tighter and minimize the clopping sound? I may return. They do look cute and seem comfortable for the 10 steps that I took in them.

Very comfortable .. foot doesn't slide and walk in all day.

Not for wide feet or high arches

I only wear BZEES and can confidently order my size (10W) and have them fit. These are the exception. The band has absolutely no stretch to it. Cannot get my foot into it.

couldn’t stop looking at them

I got the multicolored shoes. I don’t know how many times I went back to the Macys site to look at them. But they were so cute and unique I finally gave in. I still love the shoes but they are very wide. And I still love wearing them and they’re still cute!
