I didn’t grow up with floor lamps. This is the first time I’ve ever purchased a floor lamp.The time finally came to stop moving forward and backwards, dodging our table lamp, when trying to show something to my husband & vice versa! It took 63 years to learn that I like floor lamps better! My husband won that bet! The swing arm on this lamp makes it sit perfectly above the table without taking up any room on the table! The light is bright enough to read with & the shade sits low enough that you don’t have the lightbulb blinding you. The lamp is heavy & sturdy with the swing arm half out where we need it to be. It felt a little less sturdy with the arm all the way out. The shade for it is a little different than most. It uses Velcro to complete the shape of the shade. Several guests have commented on the look of the lamp & agree they would prefer this to having a lamp on their table & agree that it’s sturdy.

Sturdy, quality floor lamp
This is a sturdy, heavy floor lamp; heavier than the one replacing which broke. I didn't see the instructions, until I had already put it together. Comes with bulb and two sets of instructions. One for lamp. One for the shade. Since it has a finial, I think it is a quality lamp. The lamp provides adequate light for me and I swivel it over my desk. Everything fits in a rectangular box. Be sure to open both sides to get all contents out.

I love this lamp! It looks elegant & I have it plugged into a smart plug so I can turn it on remotely! It’s pretty cool

Disappointed
Lampshade is collapsible. Very disappointing, cheap looking.
Nice lamp
The lamp arrived with a bent on/off switch. If you extend the lamp to its fullest position on a carpet, it may tip over. It's a nice lamp, but a little disappointing.
