Beyond disappointed ☹️!!
Product came used!! REALLY!! Gross 🤢!! I would rate this a ZERO…NO STARS!! But that wasn’t an option.
GREAT COFFE MAKER/issues peeling handle
THIS IS A GREAT COFFEE MAKER. The only issue I have is that the copper handle is peeling. It is an eye sore as I have all the GE Cafe appliances in my kitchen and this is the only one with blemishes. it is very disappointing as the coffee maker was not cheap. The peeling copper is the only reason I did not give this product 5 stars. I would love the company to "make this right" for all the customers having this same issue.

Coffee grounds in the carafe
Coffee grounds continue to seep into the carafe when using the maximum amount of recommended coffee ground scoops for the maximum amount of water for 10 cups of coffee. The heating element (hot plate) is inconsistent in the amount of time it stays on after brewing.

We would like to help and provide some guidance. We recommend a medium grind coffee. Any finer grind than that can lead to overflow of coffee grounds. We also recommend to use the provided scoop with a flush level of grounds. Heaping scoops can lead to too much grinds/coffee grounds and potentially cause overflows. This model unit does not have a heating plate. Its has a thermal carafe that will lock in the heat for up to 3 hours.
Poor all the way around
Receive on Saturday. Read all the instructions could not get it to come on. When to YouTube not much help with how to get it to start. Had to wait until Monday called GE 800# and after troubleshooting they said it was a defective unit. Called Macy's 800# right after to get it returned. Was told I would receive a QR code never did. Tuesday UPS showed to pick up the unit. Because I was not provided an email QR code I was not aware they were coming. Asked ups to give me 2 minutes to put on the box. When I returned to the door they were going. The experience has left a bitter taste for me. Now I have to go into the store to return and it should have been picked up. Was also told I would receive a 35% coupon via email and of course not receive that either.

It’s just ok, not wow as I was expecting for the brand and price.
