Material composition not listed on their website

Material composition not listed on their web site. This 3.5 Qt. sauce pan is made in China and contains PTFE which only shows on the cardboard wrap when I received the new pan. The world is moving away from these products that are toxic when either heated to 500 degrees F. or if the product is scratched, (Have you ever scratched a non stick pan? I have.) Please read the precautions about PTFE on independent websites to make an informed purchase. My wife used this pan before I had a chance to return it.

Straining lid not stackable.

I added to my Calphalon sauce pan collection but was disappointed when I saw the deep rimmed lid for straining purposes. It just doesn't stack with my other lids and takes up too much space. But I deal with it.

Poor quality at a higher price

We have been buying and using Calphalon cookware for 30 years. This new pot is not the same quality and craftsmanship as the pot it replaced. The other pot was heavier and the handles didn't get hot.

Our hard-anodized cookware is designed with durability and heat conductivity in mind, but we understand that comfort and safety are just as important. While the handles are made of stainless steel and often designed to stay cooler on the stovetop, extended high-heat use, especially over a gas flame or with the pot directly above a high burner, can cause them to heat up more than expected. We recommend using a pot holder or oven mitt for added safety when handling cookware over high heat, and we’d be happy to pass your comments along to our product development team for future improvements.

Really?

Calphalon non-stick 3.5 quart pan is great quality HOWEVER, handle get seriously.... untouchably hot! How is this a thing in 2025 with good cookware? Do not buy, I'm going to return!
