Macy's AMEX Credit Card
At the time of purchase, I did not receive a discount for using my newly acquired Macy's AMEX credit card, as advertised.
Food always sticking to pans.
Despite using oil while cooking, my food consistently sticks to the pan and burns. I’m not sure what might be causing this issue.

Superior Quality
The quality of the pan is excellent. One of their best sets I own. Its important to learn that you need to let the pan pre-heat properly before cooking. If you follow this the food will brown evenly. So glad I took a chance and bought it without seeing it in person.
Bottom warped at first use
Very disappointed about the pans. They claim to be heavy duty. I used the pan on an induction stove to saute a bunch of veggies. Never went to very high temp and yet the bottom is warped. I would like to return the pans, now they will be sitting in my cabinet. What a waste of money!

Well Made, Sturdy, even Heating
These pans are fantastic, they are solid, well made, and heat very evenly. They are better than non-stick if you understand how to heat them gradually before adding fat. Very happy with this purchase.

Dirty Calphalon
I ordered two 11 piece sets. The first set the small pot and top did not match. I opened the 2nd set. It had clearly been used and was soiled. I was floored.

Have some patience
Been using the set for two months now - used every pot/pan at least twice, some of them over a dozen (including pic of most used pan in review). I did have some discoloration after the first few uses, but it’s almost like a ‘break-in’ period for these pans. Do a little research on cooking and cleaning these pans, work on dialing in the right temps, hand wash them, and rub a tiny drop of oil on the entire surface after they air dry. I know this sounds like extra effort, and it is, but the benefits of using a fully stainless set of cookware make the effort worth it. Great at searing proteins - especially beef, temp control is more sensitive than heavy bottom coated pans, really like the handle design, I can cook anything and beat them up with utensils and not worry about flakes of tephlon or other coating entering food. Only reason not 5-star is min time of ownership. I assume if they look this good after two months of daily usage, they’ll stay this good, but we’ll see.
