Runs Small but Beautiful, Ran Out of Time

Gorgeous dress I ordered to wear as a guest at a formal wedding, is also dark and heavy enough weight to wear into the holidays; however, I had issues that made it impossible for me. First my usual size 8 was too big, so I reordered in a 6 which was just right for fit, but the item I received had a strong odor as if hung in a room with heavily spiced cooking. I considered washing but who knows if that would remove the smell and dry cleaning is recommended. Unfortunately I was out of time to try a third but would have otherwise as I liked it so much. Instead I returned it and will wear something else, so disappointing.
