Wanted it to work.

This dress is so cute and I love the style. Unfortunately it is extremely high-waisted on me and just didn't look right.

Only if you are short-waisted

I am 5'10, a size 12, and a pinup shape. Typically this style look very good on me. This is definitely for short waisted women. Not even neutral waisted women but short waisted. It is extremely unflattering and the cut is bizarre in the bodice. The length is perfect for my height but nothing else. Sadly, it will be returned once stores reopen.
