Simple, but cute

Wanted a simple black dress to dress up with a bootie or down with a sneaker. This dress fits true to size and is body fitting. If you want a looser fit, size up one size.

Love it

I absolutely love this dress. I am 5’1” and 180lbs and chesty. I could’ve gone with a large but the XL gives me room in the bust. You can easily dress this up or down depending on your plans.

Soft and stretchy

This was very soft fabric, felt great against skin. The dress has quite a bit of stretch. Ordered in both the black and ivory. There is a thin strip of fabric with button holes sewn in so that the v-neck and bottom slit are fixed no matter how many buttons are undone. Wore a bright purple bra, neither dress was see-through. However, if you stretch the ivory enough, the purple began to show through. So if you find this to be see-through then size up if possible. (Stretching the black a reasonable amount could not see the purple beneath.) Also, the ivory arrived with a couple little snags. The soft fabric seemed likely to snag and was one of the two big reasons returned. The other reason to return is this is a deep v-neck and the bottom of the v was about an inch above the bottom of the band (okay, going braless would negate that feature for the brave enough crowd). Even tried sizing down, but same deep v and did not like how the rib-knit looked with the added stretch.

Love this in Black

I didn’t purchase the white just because the reviews said it was see through. But the black option was fairly thick material so now I’m curious about the white.
