Unexpected fabric

This is well made, but the fabric is a heavier sponge-y type knit, not especially soft. I bought as a gift, and will be returning because of the rougher feel and texture of it. Thinking it might not be too comfortable for the person intended. It’s probably more suitable for the outdoors vs. an indoor leisure shirt.
