Tux purchase vs rental

I just needed a new tux jacket to match the Calvin Klein tux slacks I had bought a couple of years ago to go with a tux sport coat. I didn’t expect to spend so much, but I received a discount through my Macy’s account. It was a practical purchase that fulfilled a need.
