When I first saw this sleeveless shift dress online, I could not resist the powder blue tweed paired with a white shirt collar. I felt it was me, and I could imagine myself wearing it topped with the Style&Co black denim jacket I bought from Macy's a few years ago. Upon receiving it, however, I found the fabric to be quite thin, and except for the two-sided-entry kangaroo pocket in front, the dress was unlined. The dress really needs a lining because the tweed fabric is thin and has metallic threads running through it on both sides, which is somewhat scratchy against the skin. FYI, I'm 5'2, wear a size 4P in CK, and found this dress to fit TTS. The 4P is exactly 34" long, and at my height, fell over the top of my knees. Overall, I liked the silhouette and clever way the CK design team added storage to the dress, but was disappointed that they skimped on cost by not adding a lining to it because it really needs one. That's why I only gave it four stars, instead of five.
This dress has a pouch in the front!
There is a place to put your hands, inside the front of this dress. It is not a pocket. You can touch your left hand to your right hand. There is no way for the fabric on this dress to lay flat. I can’t imagine what the designer was thinking!
