Nice for Pear Shaped Figure

I bought this dress on a whim as I thought the shape would be flattering on my pear shaped body. I was right. It's a bit more exotic than I would usually wear but my family thinks it looks night. I am small chested so I may need to have it taken in a bit and I think it might be tight for anyone with a bra size of C or greater. I ordered an 8 and am 5'6" and 150#. My only concern is that the material is very light and may be very clingy in the winter months.
