Love it but it lasted only 3 weeks - bad fabric

The nightgown is really cozy, soft and beautiful and I was going to wear it as a home dress but only after 2 washes there appeared tiny holes on the fabric. As if fabric is made of old fibers. I discovered this only yesterday and have a trip tomorrow so won’t be able to return. Such a pity! I was hoping to enjoy it long! Also in terms of price - it is too expensive for 3 weeks of usage and not sustainable at all.
