A-size cups in an XL

A-size cups in an XL bra? I ordered an XL because I wear a DD or DDD. When I tried it on, they had not increased the size of the cups for the XL. It’s like they kept the same size cups as they would for an A-cup and expanded the band size. What are they thinking?

cups small

I tried this in a medium as I am a 32 to 34 band and D cup. The band was perfect, the cup way too small for me. I'll try the large and jack up the adjustable band in the back and hope it works out. It's a very comfortable fit otherwise.
