More glitter than tweed

I was so disappointed. This dress is filled with metallic thread, giving it a sparkly look. There is no mention of that in the description. I sent it back.

Compliments EVERY-TIME I wear it

After gaining 50lbs after having my children, I became comfortable in my overweight-mom-era because I was loved. However, after turning 40 and being diagnosed as pre-diabetic, I found the courage and discipline to be healthy for myself and family and lost 65lbs by tracking calories via myfitnesspal and working with a dietitian to understand food labels and portion sizes. I know you’re thinking what does any of this have to do with the dress review… well this was the first dress I bought in 8 years because I didn’t feel comfortable or shall I say attractive in a dress. I blended in and put being confident on the back burner. The first time I wore this dress, I instantly felt this is the woman that I was meant to be. She was buried in being a selfless, loving mom and wife. Every time I wear this dress… it’s like watching one of those reels where people stare and you because you look like Old Money. I couldn’t share the review without sharing why this dress means so much to me!
