Classy and comfortable
This Calvin Klein dress is a must have in your closet! The dress runs true to size. I am 5'4' and wear a size 12 for reference, it hits right at my knee. I wore it to a wedding recently and it was super cute, classy, and very comfortable to be in for a long time. I received many compliments, loved the gold zipper accents. The material is mostly polyester, which means that you can throw the dress in the washing machine. That's a plus in my book!
Great, versatile dress
Calvin Klein does it again!! They stay on trend, make a great product, while not breaking the bank. The dress is a very comfortable and forgiving fabric. It stretches and maintains its shape yet doesn't wrinkle after sitting for some time. The fabric also has some texture. It's lined and the lining is thin yet gives coverage. The size is true to size and fits well. At first I was not sure about the gold hardware , if it was too gold--but it grew on me and adds something to the dress. Instead of your every day dress, it has a uniqueness about it. It hangs just above the knee. I can see this staying in my closet for awhile.
Most Comfortable Dress Ever!
This Calvin Klein dress is the most comfortable dress I have ever worn. The inside is like a thin soft fleece. It is very soft and the fabric stretches easily without looking like it. The gold zippers ad a touch of class. It is something that could easily be worn all day and night because of its comfort. This dress could be worn to worn, business meetings or a night on the town with just a simple switch of tights, jewelry and shoes. I am 5’11” and typical wear a 12 or 14. I ordered the dress in a 14. Because of the stretch, I could have done with a 12 if I wanted to dress to be more form fitting.
Beautiful dress
This dress is beautiful. It is very classic in its straight sheath style but the texture and zippers give it a fun update. The zippers at the waistline have a slimming effect which looks great. The material doesn’t wrinkle either which is a huge plus!!
Good quality, but runs big
If you’re looking for a simple and classic sheath dress, then this dress should be in the running. While I personally was not a fan of the gold hardware, that’s clearly a personal preference. I did find the dress to run a bit large - the only size available was a 14 (I’m normally a 12), and it was definitely more like 2 sizes to big, so I’d consider going down a size from your normal one. Aside from sizing issues and the color of the hardware, the dress is made very well - it’s even lined, which is always a plus. However, due to the lining and the thicker material of the dress, I would not recommend it for summer wearing. Overall a nice dress.
Decent Dress
I like that this dress is different from any of the other dresses I have. I have purchased several other Calvin Klein dresses which I have loved, however, I was not a huge fan of this particular dress. I thought this would just be a standard staple black dress and that was exactly what it was. I dislike the fact that the material is thick that it will not be fit to wear in warmer weather. The zippers on the sides of the dress fooled me into thinking that they were pockets which I was really excited about since most dresses do not have pockets. Overall, this dress looked okay on me, but I do not think I would I would wear it any time soon.
Calvin Klein Dress.
The dress is fully lined and of good quality, but if you carry your weight around the midsection is not for you. I'm size 14, 38D and usually have better luck with Alfani, R&M and Charter Club dressess. I got a size 16 because I knew a size 14 will be tight around my tummy and still didn't work out for me. It was big on my chest and arms and still too fitted around my tummy... my spanx didn't help much lol. It would be great for a slim figure or for some with out a tummy.
