Color completely fades. I’ve had them less than a year and the gold has completely worn off. I’m so disappointed. They were so beautiful and exactly what I was looking for but I don’t recommend these.
Gold Wears off
Gold polish wears off. Purchased 3 sets, and all 3 sets faded after a short time of use. I followed all of the washing instructions, and it still came off. Very unhappy as I spent a lot of money on this set. Cambridge notes they have a 25 year warrenty. You'll need it with this set.

Gold Comes Off
I ordered 2 packs of this flatware set - reading the directions they are dishwasher safe - I have had the set for only a few months and they are silver now. The gold has come off and it’s very frustrating. Not worth the money!

Color fades
it is a beautiful set! however agreed with the other comment it says dishwasher safe but the gold is almost GONE on most of my spoons and some forks!

Dishwasher safe... NOT TRUE
Description says item is dishwasher safe, and after three months of purchase (using the dishwasher very sporadically), the gold color is already fading away.
