Received Empty Package

I received the package but a 5" slit had been cut into it near the bottom. The the mat had been carefully removed. This happened at some point between shipment and before delivery. So, why did the UPS guy leave it knowing that it was a completely empty package?

do not buy

You will never get past the strong chemical odor of this mat! A week spent in a cold mudroom to air the mat out, another week of showers, and still the odor is so unpleasant and strong..I threw it away today, absolutely horrible. The pretty color is why I gave it a one star.
