EOS R6 Mark II Mirrorless Camera (Body Only)
Product details
Web ID: 17564888I would have bought a R6 Mk2....
I must say that Canon loses on the following points: No Battery Pack LP-E6NH available. Are you kidding me? Also, NO Battery grip is available. There is one listed, but not available. Deal breaking on both fronts. I will stick with my old R7

Good step up from R6 MK I
Very similar to R6 MK I Better resolution, better focusing, the eye catching is better. On indoor shooting, the low light is better.

Canon EOS R6 Mark II: Great Quality
I’ve been really impressed with the Canon EOS R6 Mark II. It’s incredibly user-friendly, with an intuitive layout that works for both beginners and experienced photographers. The image quality is exceptional—sharp, vibrant, and with impressive dynamic range. That said, the camera does tend to overheat during extended use, I've only really noticed this when shooting 4K 60p video. While this can be a limitation for longer shoots, the downsampling from 6K still delivers fantastic video quality. I’m also excited to try the 6K ProRes RAW recording, but it’s a bit disappointing that I can’t record this directly from the USB-C cable to an SSD drive. Overall, it’s a great camera for most situations, but if you’re planning on shooting for extended periods, the overheating and the recording limitations might be something to consider.

Best Camera Upgrade
This camera has been my dream camera ever since I saw it. My first time shooting with it was with a gymnastics performance and I used it and oh my goodness, it was taking pictures like a dream. That's when I was really locked in that this was my next camera. Now that I have the camera, it is everything I've ever wanted and more. Every little thing is adjustable to the user and the quality and overall AI focus for the camera is a dream. At first the only reason I wasn't going to get this camera was because it was so expensive and as a college student I have to spend my money sparingly so figuring out if I wanted to actually buy this camera was a huge financial debate with myself. But as I use it more and see the quality with the shots I am getting I just fall in love with it more and more and realize that it really was worth it. This camera will live with me for a few years and is worth every penny.

LOVE Canon r6 Mark ii (Prefer it over r5 Mark ii)
I had a Canon r5 Mark ii, and I actually traded in it for the Canon r6 Mark ii and it was the best decision I could have made. First off, the 4K video quality is unreal, and the clarity in photos is virtually the same. But the biggest thing is, the r5 Mark ii doesn't have an internal fan, so I got warning on temperature after shooting for an hour... And so you have to buy the attachment fan (500 dollars) and it makes sound.. I have had no problems with overheating with the r6 Mark ii, because it has internal fan :) The quality is unreal, and I just LOVE IT. I mainly use it for Actor Reels and Headshot/Portrait photography and it has been a game changer. And also, the price point is soooo good for it!

Nice camera
Looks new. Seems to function correctly. Would have liked the new portrait bracketing but maybe I can get that later.

lack of basic features
No ALL-I in video mode and 10-bit video is only in C-log 3 and not available in standard mode. The older Canon EOS R has ALL-I and the older Canon R5 can record in 10-bit in standard mode. Even the older Sony A7iv has 10-bit 4.2.2 in standard mode. Come on Canon, update the firmware to allow 10-bit in standard mode. We don't all like to grade. Also, doesn't have the ability to save settings to an sd card like the R5 II.
