This lens was designed with smaller APS-C sensors in mind, and when attached to a full frame EOS R camera, automatically enables the 1.6x crop mode.It offers 100% x 100% Dual Pixel CMOS AF coverage for APS-C sensors, and 80% x 80% Dual Pixel CMOS AF coverage for Full Frame sensors (in crop mode). Delivering remarkable performance for everyday use, the lead screw-type stepping motor (STM) helps ensure smooth autofocus and quiet operation, letting you capture videos with great audio and minimal background noise so you won't distract your subject in a quiet photo environment.Optical Image Stabilization provides up to 4.5 stops of correction, and up to 6.5 stops with Coordinated IS.

Excellent!!

I really like this lense a lot. my first lense im a beginner photographer mainly shooting sports. but this lense has done way more for me than i would’ve thought. struggles in low light settings a little bit but otherwise perfect

Great Lens

I have canons new R7 camera and i have there 100mm-400mm lens they are a great pair so i got the 18mm-150mm lens this is a great addition it is very light weight and smooth. works great with the R7. the two lenes i do not need any more. they cover all i need. the photos you see have not been touched up with lightroom or other photo shops.
