Waste of my time, weakest espresso
I have had half a dozen espresso makers. The pump style espresso makers like this Capresso I ordered shoots the water though so fast, not allowing full dissolving of the coffee grinds. I mean I thought it was great when I saw how quickly it made the espresso, then I saw how light the coffee was in a glass carafe. I ground down my beans further and made it fine, the machine almost exploded with steam and grinds coming out the brew head. I ground the beans to be two stages little less fine and it still pumped water through it too fast and the coffee color was clear in 3 seconds. I can't figure out how these other companies can charge so much for those expensive makers and give a weak cup? It tastes like water! I had to brew 8 tiny shots in a cup to make my latte and it still was lack luster. That is a waste of expensive Starbucks or Peet's coffee beans. The Bella which I also ordered makes a hearty, tasty cup of coffee unilke those pump espresso makers that shoot out water so fast. This Bella slowly trickles the water under pressure so it soaks the coffee granules and captures the whole flavor. I am very happy with my inexpensive Bella that makes a solid 4 shots of decaf espresso for me. Since I don't drink caffeinated coffee I want taste and this has it! Be careful of turning the knob on the Bella is you get one, mine was sticky, so I worked it back and forth a little bit, not hard or it might've broke. Bella needs to redesign that. Otherwise, it's perfect.
This machine leaks
I followed the directions explicitly, and no matter what I tried, the machine leaked horribly. I returned it.

Did not work well
Well, at first I thought it was the perfect deal... but second day after purchasing this product, the machine was showing issues. The coffee was not brewing and water was leaking to the compartment under the grill. I thought that was something I have done wrong, but it was impossible to brew a espresso after that. I had to, unfortunately, bring it back to the store. It is a beautiful machine, and looks great anywhere. But besides that, I do not recommend.
