Sizing and fit seems off

My daughter typically wears size 12 months and I bought this in both 9/12 months to test sizing because dresses always fit her a little big. But this dress just doesn’t fit right! I actually had to go all the way down to a 6 months size and it still sticks out wide in the front and back. I really wanted to make this dress work for our family photos but I won’t be able to. The color and material are great, just wish it fit better.

Adorable Fall Dress

I bought this adorable dress for my granddaughter. It is super soft and looks so cute on. I haven’t washed it yet, so I don’t know how it washes, but if it is anything like the other Carter’s stuff I have bought, I am sure it will be great!
