We bought this for our 5 month old granddaughter and it is absolutely adorable. It must be small for a 9 month size, because it's just barely a bit too large for her. Get the next size up and your baby will be super-comfy!

One pieces is all my 5 month-old wears. This one is one of the best since it easily streches when she moves and grows due to the product texture. Its useful life last longer than the regular cotton pieces that I have so she can wear way past the product actual size.
