The distance from the floor the bottom of the slats is 54.75", providing enough clearance so that a person up to 6 feet tall can study at the desk plenty of headroom.

Love this Loft!

The Caspian loft bed was the perfect space saving solution for my daughter's small bedroom. The clean white finish went great with her bedding and other decorative accents in the room. The desk feature will also be a convenient place for her to set her laptop for studying. I would definitely recommend this product!
