Constructed weird

Very disappointed. I really liked the design but the construction is very weird. I thought the seam that cuts across the front was just a seam but instead it actually holds what feels and sounds like cheap cardboard from that point to the tip of the toe. I stuck my foot in and the seam blocks the sides of my front from going any further creating a horrible fit where it looks like two bumps on each side (and I have a narrow foot). Returning. :(
