Needs prework before using

Needs lots of sanding as the original finish is very rough. Also need to make sure you use conditioning cream/oil a few days before first use.

Nice Carving Board

This is a great size for carving turkey or ham. The center recess was helpful to steady the meat and catch juices. The juice reservoir around the perimeter is also very ample so no overflow! The reverse is great too if you prefer a flat center. Do be sure to have some food grade mineral oil on hand, after the first use and a good rinse the wood will be extremely dry and need a rub down.

Perfect for cutting rolling roasts!

Used this for Christmas dinner and it worked really well. We were able to carve the roast without losing control of the meat and the rim caught the juices. Made serving and clean up easy

This is a great buy, it is good for resting your meat after cooking, food preparation etc.
