Arm holes too big

SIze L (typically a size 12) fits comfortably, not tight around the middle; length is long enough to cover the top of standard/reg rise jeans. The size of the well stitched arm holes, for the "comfortable around the middle" size top, were too long and wide so the top is being returned.
