CeCe Floral Jacquard Vest

Just received this vest. I also ordered the matching shorts. Not really sure if I want to keep this set. It looks really cute online, however the fabric is of a major concern! It feels way too thick; like upholstery! Not the type of fabric I would want for a summer outfit. The top is sleeveless and the shorts are well shorts! Not sure why anyone would pair this thick fabric with a cute summer outfit.
