Tight in thighs

I don’t know why or even how companies make athletic shorts that bind at the thigh, but that’s exactly what these do. They fit fine in the waist and seat. But if I tried to practice yoga in these shorts, I’d probably lose my legs thanks to their tourniquet-like fit. For spendy shorts, one would think an athletic-apparel vendor would make shorts compatible with athletic activities!
