Coco Chanel Mademoiselle

I purchased this item and had to return it since it lasted on me no more than 15 minutes. I thought the scent would be a little more stronger. I would not recommend it.

Smells better than the EDP

I have been wearing this fragrance since its debut. I was a teenager and it was the first fancy perfume I saved up and bought for myself. I feel like over the past few years, the smell of the EDP has become "off" smelling. I cannot even describe it, really. To me, it smells super chemically and acrid. Like perm solution (younger generations have no idea how that smells. Haha!). This cream has a much warmer and less pungent smell, in my opinion. It smells more like it used to in the olden days. The fragrance lasts all day and lingers on clothes. I love it. I just ran out of Miss Dior body cream and decided to try this instead. I am glad I did. It smells like I how I feel Mademoiselle should.

I love my Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. While traveling aboard a Viking Cruise ship this past summer, in France, a waiter for my table said, "you are wearing Coco Mademoiselle, n'est pas?" Not the first time someone has expressed their pleasure in the scent.

This fragrance has lost its scent. I'm sure it has been improperly stored in a too warm or hot environment by Macy's or whomever they purchased it from. The fragrance oils have been greatly altered. I will be returning it. I am so so so disappointed.
