i am not able to purchase a cover to protect my grill. i just had a very wonderful charbroil grill removed. cause water damage. i will NOT USE THIS GRILL UNTIL I CAN OBTAIN THE PRESCRIBED COVER.

Wont heat up
lately, it wont heat up past 250 before tripping the outlet.

Too soon to tell and I'm hopeful
I assembled myself (and don't consider myself good at assembling things.) All the parts were in the shipment. I had the tools I needed (a small adjustable wrench and a medium size phillips head screwdriver were enough). Took me about 2 hours - and I wasn't rushing. Turned right on (glad I had access to the required outdoor Ground Fault outlet.) Did everything that the handbook said it was. Grilled 2 salmon burgers, 2 Beyond burgers, a potato cut in pieces and toasted buns. Worked great and cooking space was bigger than I anticipated. Cooled down fast when done. Looking forward to seeing what the future brings.

Did not last :(
Knob broke off and cannot start the electric grill without this functioning part.

lOVE THE GRILL BUT THEY DON'T LAST
I HAVE BOUGHT ABOUT 8 OF THESE GRILLS SINCE 2011 THEY LAST ABOUT 1 TO 2 YEARS. BEST ELECTRIC GRILL BUT I SURE WISH THEY HELD UP BETTER.

10th Birthday of my Patio Bistro
Mi Patio Bistro have been in my balcony uncovered for 10 years I was supposed to order the cover on 5/5/2014 but I forgot :) I have made BBQ's for 15/20 family members just keep in mind that after each use you must do a deep cleaning and remove the grease to prevent fires like any other BBQ Electric/Charcoal/Gas, the new one looks nice bur this one still strong. Tip for cleaning: Spray some vinegar on the greasy areas, let it sit and then use a brush (for deep cleaning after this step use dish soap and rinse)

Just got it assembled
Just assembled and am doing burn in. It wobbles even after trying to adjust the screws that were indicated as an adjustment for this problem. It heats up fairly quickly and did make it to 500'f on my grill thermoworks thermometer

Outstanding quality grill
After almost a 11 years with all round year use this grill has been the go to for cooking great food. I just took the old one apart and put it in trash can the new one comes tomorrow. The grill is just loaded with quality, thx Char Broil!
