Turkey frier

I just seasoned my oil-less turkey frier which went as planned. The unit worked well and did what it was supposed to do. Next step is to actually fry a turkey! I'm hoping that goes as well as the seasoning did!

Everything I cooked is raw in the middle

I am considering getting rid of this. I have used it 3 times. 1st I made a turkey for Thanksgiving. It ended up overcooked (the temperature raised much quicker than I expected at the end) 2nd I tried a turkey again. The outside is good this time, but the middle is undercooked. 3rd I tried 3 cornish hen. The outside of the hen were ok but the back is almost raw.

A Bit Smaller?

If I were to buy my third Big Easy I certainly would. It does seem to be a bit smaller because my first turkey was over 22 pounds. I'm sure the new model would 'fry' just as well. Besides it looks great! Like most gas grills, the ignition system seems to have died. Yet, it is not the spark mechanism but the handle. I have replaced it twice. I now use a pair of plyers. Cooking on this grill at least once a week since it's creation has been fantastic. Charbroil has definitely improved their quality over the years.

Excellent Outdoor Oil Less Cooker

Was looking for an alternative to deep frying Turkeys and came upon the Charbroil Big Easy. Read some reviews and took the plunge and purchased it. So far have done Turkeys, Chickens, Beef Roasts and Ribs. Everything turned out great with some tweaking and watching a few YouTube videos. Best thing is no expense for peanut oil and easy clean up. Would highly recommend the Big Easy.
