2 Burner

Bought this grill 2 years ago and I converted it to natural gas which is very easy to do and love the infrared feature which means no flare ups and even cooking. Very easy to clean. I would highly recommend this grill for a small family

My 5th Tru Infrared Owned or Gifted

The "Porcelain" coated grates are a complete disaster. Porcelain cracked after second use. Plus ignitor didn't work out of the box. They cook good but do not hold up. Knew better than to buy another as a gift.

My second Tru Infrared

My first Char broil just turned 12 years old. This new one looks great and I hope it performs as long as the old one.

Drain pan

Where is the drain pan? I cannot find it. This barbeque was given to me and I just cannot operate it.

Lowered quality and performance

I have had this same model twice before and was satisfied with it. They made some changes that were not obvious on their site that degraded the performance. The infared design changed by eliminating the separate emitters on the upper grids. This has reduced the performance. Also the location of the tank makes it difficult to connect the gas line. The brace for the line cannot be attached per the design. I would not recommend this model.
