Delicious!

The flavor of these were really nice, not overpowering or middling. The presentation is nice as well, with just the right about of truffles for a treat that lasts for a bit.

Quality Lacked its Title

These chocolates lacked the 'champagne' taste expecting from its title. The outer shell was hard, not as soft as expected. Overall, very good. I purchased these truffles for a friend; we both agreed the outer shell and 'champagne' lacking.

Stale, not very good

I just ordered these and tried them yesterday. For the price, they were not impressive at all, so I wish I had ordered Godiva instead. The package says it doesn’t expire until 7/23/23, which is one month away, but I wonder if they’ve already started to go bad, he ce my negative experience.

Did not love

I'm tried various truffles from different brands ranging from Godiva to La Maison du Chocolat (the best so far), and this one from Charbonnel to me wasn't that great for me. The shell is thick and the after taste, probably due to the champagne flavor, was a little weird. I'll move on to try other brands.

Strong, wonderful Marc de Champagne flavor

Do you like boozy things? Then, you will love these. Very strong flavor of Marc de Champagne which, if you are not familiar with it, is similar to whiskey but with a slight odd (in a good way) undertone. These are the classic Charbonnel et Walker truffle - highly recommend.

The Dom Perignon of Champagne Truffles!

Dried out!

Even though the expiration date is 4 months away, the chocolate must be stored incorrectly. No whiskey flavor, just a bad cocoa taste on a hard dried out shell on multiple boxes.
