On par, great quality
These sheets are excellent at 400TC; they are not as soft to the touch as supima sheets or 500+ TC but quality is as I expected. Fantastic price, color is a beautiful 'vanilla' or creme brullee. I've washed them twice since my purchase, sheets are crispy cotton but anticipate softness after each wash.

Very Poor Quality Cotton
Having owned Charisma sheets in both percale and sateen finishes for the past 25 years I can say without hesitation this set of sheets is awful. Scratchy, scratchy, scratchy. I washed these sheets six times and there is no change. I pulled out my 10 year old Charisma percale sheets and there is a coolness to that fabric when running my hand across it. These 400 TC percale sheets are rough and so unpleasant to the touch. Sorry, but I do not believe at all that these sheets will soften with repeated washings. These are just really cheap, rough sheets. Such a sad drop in quality from Charisma sheets of the past.

In this twin set the width of the fitted sheet measured about 59 inches, not 39 inches as labeled. It was way too big and the set had to be returned.
