Disappointed with purchase return

I was told I could return the shoes that did not fit and since it was past 30 days of purcahse, I'd hae to pay the return fee only. I went on line, as instructed, and was told, I couldn't return them at all

Loved the shoes but...the color is a hot pink, not the deeper color that is shown. So haf to be returned.
