it is what it is

I bought this scarf after reading previous reviews, and I’m glad I did. It IS shorter than the oversized scarf/wrap I bought a number of years ago. But that’s not an issue. I wanted this to wear with my (mostly) neutral cashmere sweaters and dresses. It’s a bit of warmth at the neck and it looks lovely. I like the fanciful animal print and love the soft plushy cashmere feel.

About 21/2 weeks after I ordered this for a Christmas gift I checked to track the shipment and saw Macy’s had cancelled my order after confirming it. I checked my emails and found that they ran out and cancelled my order several days after confirming. I was left scrambling unsuccessfully for a suitable gift. Very aggravating.

It’s much thinner than I thought it would be. The picture looks thicker and more fluffy. The solid color one I purchased was fluffier.
