I needed a fitted sheet since adding a memory foam topper to my existing mattress. This Charter Club 550 thread count cotton fitted sheet worked out nicely. The 'white' color is not a bright white, but more of a soft white. After a quick wash (cool water, no bleach) and tumble (medium heat), the feel of the sheet is smooth/comfortable to the touch, and the thread count weave makes it thick enough that you cannot see through it. There is an elasticized band around entire bottom of sheet to help it stay put, as well as labels for 'top' and 'bottom'. The only drawback is that, although I can get the corners to stay down, the entire sheet does not completely fit along the sides of my 16" deep mattress (see photo).

I ordered White and when I opened the set up it appears to have "yellowed" probably over time and being stored in a warehouse somewhere, it might be why they are on clearance. I normally love the Charter Club stripe sheets but I am very disappointed with these.

Bought these Charter Club extra deep pocket sheet set for a guest room. Washed 2 times. Barely slept on. The corner seems started to fray and the "cotton" pilled everywhere. Less than 6m with very light ue and they look like they are over 5 ears old. Macy's customer service has become abysmal. They have a strict 30 day return policy. How can you know if sheets are defective or poor quality in 30 days? Plus Charter Club sheets apparently have NO warranty! They are a Macy's signature brand, yet they don't stand behind the products. Most online stores that sell sheets have a warranty. Please take heed and DO NOT waste your money! I get stricter return policies for people abusing the system, but these sheets are absolute garbage for the price. I regret my purchase. I learned why I should never shop at Macy's. This is why this store is failing.

Order came quickly and was packaged very well. However, upon washing the sheets to ready for usage I notice a hole the size of a nickel in the bottom sheet. It would not have been repairable for a guest sheet set. I have set up a return process.
