Sweet Dreams on Cotton Percale

Macy’s Charter Club 550-Thread Count cotton percale sheets are the nicest I have ever bought! Cool, crisp, smooth cotton. The “ditsy” floral print is cheerful as all get out. And one detail in the construction is new to me - on the fitted sheets, each corner has two rows of elastic, one to orient the sheet to the corner, and the other to wrap under the mattress for a secure fit. Amazing! All in all, a great value for excellent quality.

What happened

I’ve purchased Charter Club sheets for years but after they were washed they feel like almost scratchy, not soft at all, they wrinkled bad, not the same quality as before. I’m willing to pay a little more for quality, but these aren’t that cheap but I think Walmart probably has better quality than these. They are cute, but I’ll have to find another favorite brand. Completely disappointed.
