I've spent a small fortune looking for "The One" terry cloth robe. Here it was all along and at a fraction of the cost of what I have spent on others. I'm 5'4, @150lbs athletic build, 40/29/38 - the medium fit what I would call exactly but I ended up keeping the large because I like to feel wrapped up in my terry robes. I guess it just depends on your personal preference. I got both the baby blue and the light pink - both are nice but wish they had a purple color to match my bathroom. I use it after the shower instead of a towel - I can't believe how absorbent it is. Where does the water go??? What stands out most is how soft it is. SO SOFT! Washes well. I love Macy's - great products at a great price with great service. What's not to love?

Nice but not great like the old charter club robes
I've had a charter club turkish cotten terry robe for years. It finally was time to get a new one because I'd worn it to death. But the new ones aren't the same material. The new one is fine, and I imagine it might be softer when I wash it, but it's not a true terry cloth although it is 100% cotten. It feels lighter and not as absorbent. But it's comfortable, and some may like the lighter version better. i am keeping it because for the price you can't find anything better.

Very comfortable.... very thick and absorbent. Bought this for my husband and he loves it. I bought the xxl for him. He normally wears a large. And price was the best part!
