Could be softer

It’s definitely gentle but could be a bit softer.. I’m going to be buying more colors. I got the beige to start. It’s very lovely.

Classy cozy sweater

The luxurious feel of the Charter Club V neck cashmere sweater is amazing. Upon removing it from its package, the softness and light weight of the sweater is definitely a winner. Because of the 100% cashmere, it has a very classy look and feel. Cashmere clothing I have had in the past would itch really bad. This one does not. The lightweight makes it easy to wear a tshirt or dress shirt underneath it, making it go from casual to formal. The only thing I would say is to size up . I found the 2x has room so that it is not clingy or snug fit. I normally wear an xtra large. If you like it snug then I would buy the size you normally wear. I found the size up to be a benefit to me, for it was not clingy. I could wear other shirts under it.

not worth even one star

i ordered (as described by Macy's) a 100% cashmere v-neck sweater / charter club luxury...product ordered in Nov. 2024. Now, i remember when Charter Club was a nice quality Macy's brand / not super-fashionable but a nice wear everywhere product. i know quality of Charter Club has dropped thru the years; i'm not naive.,,but i really didn't expect the sweater to form holes in the back torso or on the sleeve or require frequently de-pilling of HUGE fabric clumps from the inner arms and sides of the sweater. I rarely if ever write a review, don't expect Macy's to 'fix' the Charter Club quality issue, but wanted to let other consumers know to save their money on this product.

Favorite sweater

Soft luxurious fabric. V neck is just the right depth. Perfect for fall, winter, and spring and even though I’ve got several colors I’ve got my eyes open for another red.

Not the usual Charter Club cashmere

I own about a dozen of these classic v-necks from Charter Club in cashmere. This latest purchase is a poor imitation. The knit is thinner and itchier and less stretchy. The sleeves are short. It is unwearable.
