I have been buying Macy's Charter Club towels for years. This towel reminds me why. The towel arrived with both the color and softness I expected. There were no loose threads. I washed the towel as directed. There was only a little lint, no observable fading, and no apparent change in softness. Over the years, I have often found that a "matching" hand towel did not fare as well as the bath towel after multiple washings. In this case after two cycles through the washer the bath and hand towels looked the same. If this continues for about a year, I'll restore the fifth star. In the meantie, I recommend the navy Charter Club towels.

Beautiful quality towels. I have wanted Charter Club towels for years after using them while staying with a friend. Finally purchased them and am very pleased. They are plush, thick, and absorbent. Loving them. The care tag says to dry them on "low heat", and I've been doing that.

bad qaulity
initial quality seems good but after 2 washes the towels stitching started unraveling. I never had this before.
