Not nearly as good as before
I have been buying Charter Club towels for a while, and the latest iteration is a big disappointment. The prior versions held up very well after many washings, but as others have noted here, the current version begins to pull and pill almost immediately. In fact, I think these might be among the worst towels I have ever had with respect to that issue and I am 67 years old. Macy's, please go back to your old supplier, or undo whatever ruined these towels.

I love the towel set I purchased but thought they were a light gray based on the picture on the website. They even looked that way when I unpacked them. However, in my bathroom with gray paint, they have a definite blue tinge. That is my only disappointment.

These washcloths have become a favorite in my family. In the past year I've bought both the towels and the washcloths in three different colors and all have exceeded my expectations. They wash well in hot water, dry on a medium hot setting and the colors have not faded. The towels feel luxurious when used after bathing.
