Beautiful but runs small

I usually wear a M in Macy's Charter Club sweaters, but sometimes get the large if i want it oversized. Because this said shrunken, I purchased the L, but it was too small/fitted for my taste, so unfortunately I had to return it. But it was a very nice sweater!
