I like the color, style and material of this robe. But I wish I had ordered my size robe instead of a size smaller after reading the reviews

Do not recommend…poor quality.

I ordered this online. Had high expectations for it. But, I was disappointed in the quality. The fabric is a nice weight, print is pretty. However the front edge of the robe is not stitched down so when the belt is tied the edge turns out and looks bad. It should have been stitched down and some interfacing to give it some body would have been nice. I washed it one time (gentle cycle, tumble dry low heat) and it shrank.. The sleeves are now a little too short. In addition after one washing the belt is coming apart. Very disappointed as Charter Club is usually a sure bet for quality. I am returning it.

Charter Club Brushed Kit Cotton Robe

I knew that this robe did not come in Petite sizes. It showed at calf length on the model in the photo, and I knew I would probably need to hem it for my 5'2" height. I'm used to that. I ordered it in Mediium which turned out to be very large all over. I machine hemmed the bottom and the sleeves 3" (and turned up the sleeves to make cuffs to shorten them a little more) And while I was at it I also stiched down the inside facing on both sides of the robes opening because the facing was gapping and wouldn't lay down otherwise.. The robe was still a bit large all over so I machine washed it and hung it to dry. After re-making it, it now fits me just right and feels great! I may continue to hang it to dry rather than in the dryer to be on the cautious. side..

Floor length robe

It’s a nice robe but picture does not reflect the true length. This photo shows a robe that is just below the knee when actually the robe it floor length ( at least mine was).

Soft, lightweight, just enough

If you’re looking for a thick, fluffy robe, this isn’t it. But it’s exactly what I wanted: soft, lightweight, perfect length and nice pockets. The belt loops are a little high, but I’m OK with that. Just what I was a looking for to put on while I’m still a little damp from the shower in any season.
