I think this dress got underrated...

I avoided buying this dress because it had a bad review and I think it was undeserved. Like many City Chic clothes it has synthetic fabric -- this is no exception as it has a synthetic fabric lining with a slight crinoline (not a tutu). The dress itself is a better cotton type fabric. It's a vintage inspired style, so a crinoline is expected and useful to maintain the A-line shape. I like this dress but would prefer they stick to cotton. I got it in both colors it's perfect for a tiki party or night out!

What in the world

The pattern of the dress is amazing, but there is a horrible satin lining under war with a TUTU!!! Why in the world would a summer sundress have a satin lining? It’s horrible. The dress is a heavy cotton, so I have no idea what the lining would be for. I ended up cutting it out so it would be wearable in the summer, but it really messed with the structural integrity of it. I’m so disappointed and confused!
