Looked better online

This dress looks like a doily in person. I don’t know a better way to explain it. The picture makes it look like thin lace that lays flat, but in person, it’s thicker like an afghan or tablecloth and is just not attractive. Really disappointed because it does look like a beautiful dress in the picture.
