Really nice and light

I bought this as a gift for my wonderful sister-in-law. I kept the little sample for myself, and I love it. My Mom had amazing skin and she used Clarins products. After she passed, I used her skin creams because I could smell her fragrance in them. I became hooked. I've bought different ones for my daughter and of course for myself. I chose this product for my dear sister-in-law because of its lovely rich but light qualities. Thank you, Clarins.

Balancing and calming for thirsty skin

Hydra - Essential / Very Dry Skin

My original purchase of this product was a few years ago, and I fell in love with it, I would use it when I would come in from working out in my yard or being out in the sun. Also, in the winter going out to shovel, it’s the first thing I would put on my face before going outside. That trick was amazing. Every time I felt as though my skin needed an extra boost of moisture this cream served that purpose. Sadly when I ran out of it I was unable to order it because I was unable to find it on the website. I decided to try ALL of the Hydra Essential products, hoping to find a replacement. Sadly, nothing compares to the old original cream. The “Silky Cream” for my skin is really bad! My skin did not feel moisturize comforted at all! This cream is oily and did not seem to soak in at all and it made my skin feel sticky. After a few seconds, my skin started to burn and turn red. I had to wash the cream off. VERY DISAPPOINTED and I definitely would not recommend this at all! Clarins WHY the need to change a product that works?!?

Use the AI Skin Observer

I used the AI Skin Observer and it turns out I was using a moisturizer that was too heavy. I'm using Hydra-Essential now and my skin has never looked better. This is a smooth, nice smelling (light, clean scent) excellent moisturizer. I also have the night cream.
